Real Chat with Daniel Lewis
Daniel Lewis is the proud father of his son Carter. He is a loyal New York Jets and Mets fan, but his favorite sports team is his son’s soccer team.
PROJECT 375: What is your favorite activity to do with your son, Carter?
Daniel Lewis: All the time I get to see him is great. We do so many different things together. I think this past year coaching his soccer team has been my favorite. He played on a 3 and under team and I got to be the coach. I was so proud of him when he scored his first goal. He was wearing his hat, carrying a toy truck and took the ball down the entire field and scored.
PROJECT 375: Where do you most want to travel, but never have?
Daniel Lewis: I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit a few places but that is somewhere I’ve never been.
PROJECT 375: What has been your biggest challenge?
Daniel Lewis: I think becoming a parent is both the biggest challenge I’ve had and also the most rewarding.
PROJECT 375: How would your friends describe you?
Daniel Lewis: People who know me really well, would say that I’m loyal, hard working, generous, hard headed, and sensitive. They would likely say that I am someone good to have on your side.
PROJECT 375: What is the number one thing you hope to accomplish in life?
Daniel Lewis: At the end of the day, I really just want the people in my life to be proud of me. Whichever direction I go, with my decision making and with my parenting. If there was a video of me 24 hours a day, a simple goal I would have is if my Mom saw it, she’d never be disappointed in what I did.
